Join the Royal Highland Yacht Club

Perhaps the greatest feature of the Club is the congenial aspect of membership and many long lasting friendships have developed as a result of meeting afloat at a Club muster.

To be part of the Royal Highland Yacht Club, the current recommendation for membership is that the candidate or yacht should be based on the West Coast of Scotland or should sail there on a reasonably regular basis, and the candidate should declare an intention to take part in Club activities. We ask that potential members attend a club event – muster or dinner – before making application. Non yacht owners, spouses and close relatives of established members can be proposed, and here again intention to support Club events is a prime consideration of the Committee.

In order to apply for membership of the Royal Highland Yacht Club two forms need to be completed & submitted to the Secretary. These two forms are the Application Form which contains guidance notes & available here, together with the Personal Data Consent Form which is available here.

The Royal Highland Yacht Club takes the security of its members’ personal data seriously. We are committed to keeping members’ personal data safe and will comply with the regulations when dealing with your personal data. The Club Personal Data Policy can be viewed here.

If you are interested in joining but do not know any current members, please contact the Secretary, who will put you in touch with a member.
